1995 Lars Stroschen created the very first 4 rooms in his private apartment, After a construction time of 2 years he started to rent in Dec. 1997.
In February 1999 the artist started with the work on the giant City Lodge project. The 1st and 2nd floor were opened in summer 2001 and the 3rd floor 1 year later. After adding all the missing details the City Lodge's rooms were completed after a construction time of 5 years.
In may 2005 Lars finaly started to create Propeller Island’s own gallery - in the ground floor below the hotel it’s actualy ment as a 'picture for the street'. It was finished after 1 more year of construction time completing the City Lodge in spring 2006.
